So after two nights in Liverpool I was ready to have a proper kebab. Being an American, I always thought a kebab was a skewer but was confused because i never saw anyone eating them after a night out in the UK.
Friends was close to where I was staying and was told that it was the best spot for them ever so after a night out in Liverpool we went over and grabbed some.
The naan took less than a minute to cook in the clay oven and all the ingredients looked fresh.
Once at the house we devoured them and instantly wanted more. I had no idea this is what everyone was talking about. I only wish I was able to eat one a day or every couple hours. -

As far as kebabs go this is the King. The portion size isn't massive like in other kebab places but the quality of this place is unbeatable. You haven't had a kebab until you've been here.

Can anyone hear the word Friends without the theme tune following? Well, it's in my head now anyway.
Opposite The Nile, Friends is another rather decent clay oven clad flame griller of the takeout ilk on that expansive stretch of Smithdown takeaways.
The food is brill especially the mixed kebab and the special garlic bread (Cheese, mushrooms and jalepeno. It's aneurism inducing but mighty fine.)
Also, check the student deals if you need to fill a huge gap or have thrown the diet out of the window. Student meal: 10" pizza with two toppings, chips, two drinks...And a chicken fillet burger for £6.50! That is a serious amount of fastfood. We're not just friends now, we're blood brothers. -

Truly the best place for a diarrhoea free experience. Amazing food, tandoor fresh bread, heavenly kebabs :)

The staff in Friends are so cute and funny. This place is a new haunt and in competiton with quite a few takeaways nearby, so the extra effort they take to make their customers as happy as possible is savvy and perfectly understandable!
The bright little place offers a range of cuisines from pizzas, to kebabs and chicken burgers. The food is nicely made and of a high-quality so you don't feel overly greasy after you've indulged.
Prices are very reasonable. I also noted the takeaway was sparkling clean, which is nice and reassuring.
A great local place. Friend-ly name, friend-ly place and friend-ly food!
